VR Vajrayogini Body Mandala 2.0

This app is aimed to help those who have difficulties visualizing the body mandala of Vajrayogini. It will facilitate the visualization of this and other parts of the sadhana because it is much easier to recreate an image in your mind if you have seen it before, rather than visualizing it from a description.

This VR recreation does not aim to substitute the profound experience of your meditation on the body mandala—actually, any application can do that. This experience cannot happen without effort, genuine dedication and, above all, the indispensable help of a qualified teacher. The descriptions which appear in the authentic traditional texts and, above all, the indications provided by a qualified teacher are irreplaceable. Remember: the description of the taste of an orange is not the same as drinking a glass of juice.

The images used for developing this app appear in original comments of the Sadhana of Kyabje Pabongkha Rinpoche. These images have been supervised by qualified teachers in order to make sure that you’ll have a model identical to the one which appears in the Naro Kachö lineage. It is an excellent tool which will help you refine your visualizations of the deity and the experience of being that deity.

You must not download this app if you have not received the Vajrayogini empowerment of the Naro Kachö lineage, the commentary and the oral transmission. It is the same as going through the Himalayas without some indications and advice from an experienced Sherpa: you couldn’t make it even if you had all the necessary equipment.
