The HybridKnife developed by Erbe Elektromedizin is a multi-functional flexible probe with a waterjet and electrosurgery function, which enables en bloc resection of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The waterjet function lifts the tumor-bearing mucosa and produces a liquid cushion in the submucosa. With the second function, the HybridKnife cuts the tumor out of the bladder wall on an elevated resection plane.
