Found - Pet Services 1.2.0

Found is a mobile application designed to help lost and found pets in Singapore.

Every day one or more pet is lost. More often than not, finding a lost pet causes more unnecessary trouble to the finder. Found aims to reduce the amount of time spent on locating the pet's rightful owner.

Centralising the lost and found posters will reduce the hassle of searching and posting on multiple social platforms for the pet finder.

Found allows pet finder to key in the pet's microchip number and notifies the owner via push notification.

Users can also use Found to instantly send a notification of their poster to users around the area reaching out to more people in a shorter timeframe, and greatly increase the chance of reuniting the pet.

Besides, Found has other features that will be beneficial to pet owners such as the nearby veterinary clinics, and appointment reminder that will remind you one day before your appointment!

With more people using Found, we can effectively bring down the time to reunite lost pets.

Pet owners
• Create a pet profile at My Pets
• Upload your pet's picture and enter the details accordingly
• If your pet has microchip, it will automatically be registered in our registry and this will allow the finder to notify you using the microchip number
• if you do not wish to disclose your pet's information, you can encrypt it using your passcode.

What to do if you lost your pet
• Follow the instruction above if pet profile not created
• Submit a poster and enter the details accordingly
• After submission, you can broadcast your poster to nearby users within a range of 1 to 5km radius around the last seen location.
• If your pet has microchipping, Remember to enable push notification for the finder to notify you.
• Roam around the last seen location.
• Don't give up!

What to do if you find a lost pet
For dogs and cats
• Use Found to locate the nearest veterinary clinic that is open
• Scan for microchipping
• Use Found microchip search function, key in the microchip number and select the correct species. If the pet is registered in our registry, You can send a picture of the pet and your contact number to the pet owner.
• If it's not microchipped, submit a poster and enter the details as accurate as possible.
• After submission, you can broadcast your poster to nearby users within a range of 1 to 5km radius around the last seen location.
• Try to keep the pet until the rightful owner contacts you.
• If it's a case of abandonment, contact AVS/SPCA.

For other pets
• Submit a poster and enter the details accordingly
• After submission, you can broadcast your poster to nearby users within a range of 1 to 5km radius around the last seen location.
• Try to keep the pet until the rightful owner contacts you.
• If it's a case of abandonment, contact AVS/SPCA.
