This tablet application has two major use cases:
For non ACARS equipped aircraft providing AOC text communications.
For ACARS equipped aircraft it provides encrypted text communications with reduced cost using Internet protocol where available.
Jetsched Pilot application on iPad device behaves like a legacy ARINC620 ACARS, therefore the workflow and procedures are the same all-access an airline fleet. The application complements other EFB applications adding an efficient communication path between the flight crew and dispatch.
This is the tool that you need for sending confidential data such as journey logbook information.
