Sprig Language 1.2.0

Sprig Language is an early years literacy assessment tool developed by Sprig Learning. Teachers who are registered for the Sprig Language program will see their classroom list and access an engaging and interactive assessment for every student to complete. There are also links to a series of surveys for teachers, caregivers and community leaders. Together, these different assessments/surveys are combined to provide teachers, principals and parents with a more comprehensive and holistic understanding of the oral language learning needs for each student.

The interactive student assessment app is intended to be delivered by a puppet who teaches students about the the importance of family, culture and language. Teachers are trained how to deliver the assessment and also how to evaluate students using the oral language rubric. There are accompanying storybooks and classroom material focussed on the Sprig Language characters, which complement the assessment app. The application is account-driven and available only to schools that are part of the Sprig Language program.
