Catecholamines Synthesis Tutor 1.1

Catecholamines Biosynthesis Tutor is an app designed to help you to memorize the structures, reactions and enzymes responsible for the synthesis of the hormones and neurotransmitters of the adrenal gland and neurons. A Catecholamine is a catechol with an amine side group.

This app will help you study Epinephrine (Adrenaline) which acts primarily as a hormone. It will help you study Norepinephrine and Dopamine which are released from the adrenal glands and can act as hormones but serve mainly as neurotransmitters. It includes biosynthesis reactions starting from Tyrosine through DOPA to all the other hormones and neurotransmitters.

This app will be a helpful study aid for your Endocrinology, Physiology and Biochemistry courses.
