iSparge allows you to perform common home brew calculations required during mashing and sparging of an all grain brew.
iSparge contains 3 easy to use calculators:
1) Required Grain
2) Strike Water Temperature
3) Required Mash and Sparge Water
The Required Grain calculation calculates the necessary grain bill based on your target gravity, pitching volume, and expected PPG.
The Strike Water Temperature is calculated based on the common formula: 0.2/Mash Ratio*(Desired Mash Temp-Grain Temp)+ Desired Mach Temp.
The total mash and sparge water volumes necessary are calculated based on the pitching volume, mash ratio, water loss from evaporation, and water loss from grain absorption.
There is a settings page to set your Mash Ratio, Expected Evaporation, Grain Absorption, and temperature shrinkage.
