With its friendly, map-centric interface, iTrakMe offers several easy-to-use tools. You can control recording with a simple Start/Stop button, and then save the route or discard it. You can specify different units of measurement, for example, change the value for distance from 1.00 miles to 5280 feet, or the value for speed from 12.1 fps to 8.3 mph. You can break down a calorie count into moving, elevation, and resting components.
You can also display a route snapshot or use the GPS query tool to display details about the route, including the latitude, longitude, elevation, timestamp, speed, and time spent at the location. The Photo and Notes tool is a simple way to document and annotate a route.
The Calorie Counter gives you a breakdown of the total calories into those that are expended from moving or elevation, as well as the BMR (resting) calories.
A convenient summary tool provides a quick look at total distance, time, steps, and calories over key time periods for each activity.
Other features of iTrakMe include a compass that shows your travel directions, color schemes that customize the look of your screen, and a GPS function that lets you see additional information about your route, such as the time spent at a location point.
You can export iTrakMe routes in both CSV and KML formats.
Note: iTrakMe uses built-in GPS receivers while recording. Continuous recording will decrease the battery life faster than usual.
