Prompto is an innovative Service Management App developed internally by Delv with a view to enhance our Helpdesk processes and promote a better collaboration between our end-users and our support. It presents a familiar social-media style of interaction to allow easier, more comfortable and more efficient engagement.
To do this, Prompto supports a wide range of media to ensure that our support is approachable, personable and, most importantly, efficient in solving our customers’ issues. It provides notifications about both service status and known issues, as well as individualised updates on incidents users have reported or cases they have initiated. Prompto also provides users a gateway to access how-to guides for completing basic tasks, product literature about their devices and a general knowledgebase, providing the information users need to configure things themselves or merely learn more about what their devices can do.
In addition to streamlining support interactions, Prompto also assists our support technicians directly. By providing a great level of insight into the device it is installed upon, including configuration details and version numbers of applications or the OS, Prompto has proven invaluable when it comes to simplifying the troubleshooting process and getting our customers back up and running more quickly.
