We aim to bridge the gap between qualification and employment which has, for so long, been a leading factor in the high unemployment rate of youth all over Sub-Saharan Africa.
We've helped 212 graduates get into full-time employment. We've trained over 13,000 graduates in full-stack web development, Design (Graphics design and Animations), and Digital Marketing across Nigeria and Ghana. We have 7,000 active users taking our online programs. We have a 75-80% success rate at pairing our users to internship programs and ensuring they're hired.
Since launching our early beta (first market entry) in 2014, we’ve maintained an 80% success rate in converting unskilled graduates into world-class professionals and matching them with well-paying jobs. 10% of our beta testers have gone on to start their own business and also got access to funding ranging from $5,000 to $25,000.
While in beta, we won the Anzisha Prize in 2015, and have been featured on Newsweek, BBC, CNN and a host of media partners across the globe. The Slatecube model presented at the African Union during the eLearning Africa Conference was well-received and in 2016, we were invited by President Barack Obama to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in San Francisco, USA.
Our partnership with several Career Networks across the globe has opened up over 10,000 companies with whom we are now successfully implementing the job placement phase of our programs.
