Bitdefender Parental Advisor helps parents discreetly supervise their children’s online activities and device use.


Download and install the Bitdefender Parental Advisor app on your children’s Android smartphone or tablet. Set it up and start protecting them.

Log in to your web-based Bitdefender Central account at https://central.bitdefender.com/parentaladvisor to configure your child’s profile and assign devices, and get reports of their daily online routines:

✔ which apps your child uses
✔ what web categories s/he accesses
✔ where the child is throughout the day
✔ which phone contacts the child communicates with through SMS and calls
✔ how much time the child spends on the device during the day
✔ what the child does on Facebook on a specific day

Secure Browsing for your children. Choose the Web Categories you want to keep away from your child, by simply picking them from a list. We can also whitelist or blacklist specific URLs.

Manage Applications. Choose the applications and programs you consider appropriate for your child, from a list we provide you consisting of all the apps installed on your child’s Android devices.

Location Tracking & Geofencing. Track the location of your child’s smartphone so you always know where s/he is. You can also set up specific areas on a map and you are notified each time your child enters a restricted area.

Safe Check-In. Your child can let you know s/he has arrived safely at a location by simply tapping a button in the Parental Advisor mobile app. Whenever a child enters a restricted area, s/he receives a note suggesting you should be notified of the safe arrival.

Limit Time Spent on Device. Decide how much time your child spends on a certain device, and when. You can:
✔ set specific intervals during the day when the device can be used
✔ set a cumulative time limit on device use within a day
✔ set specific sleeping hours in which the device will not be accessible.

Monitor SMS and calls. Stop certain phone contacts from interacting (incoming and outgoing call and SMS) with the child. You can also block incoming calls that don’t have a Caller ID.
