Ravana wakes up Kumbhakarna for the war. Kumbhkaran also gave a failed mantra to Ravan's refuge. In the war, Kumbhakarna attained supreme glory at the hands of Rama. Laxman wrestled Meghnad and killed him. Ram and Ravana had many fierce battles and in the end Ravana was killed in Ram's hands. After submitting the state of Lanka to Vibhishan, Rama ascended with God Sita and Lakshman to Pushpakviman and left for Ayodhya.
