St. Gregory the Great - Morals on the Book of Job 1.01

St. Gregory the Great is considered one of the greatest Popes of Rome. He is famous for sending a mission to convert pagan England to Christianity, for revising the Roman worship and for his writings.

Perhaps his most famous work is the Moralia in Job. It stretches to 1,880 pages in Latin and it is the most complete commentary ever written on the book of Job. St. Gregory's fills the commentary with his theological and spiritual wisdom. The result is a guide not just to understanding Job, but also to living a full and moral Christian life.
