The Organizing Committee of the XVI Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology has been meting and working to plan and prepare the main event of our Society. As you already know, our next Congress will be held at Hotel Fazenda Fonte Colina Verde, in São Pedro (SP) Brazil. Besides being located in the Southeast of our country, close to international airports of Campinas and São Paulo, the hotel offers a cozy ambience for the activities envisaged in our program, making possible an immersion in plant physiology.

The congress will feature key note lectures and thematic sessions in which students will have the opportunity to stand side by side with well-known plant physiologists, sharing the same space and enjoying a refreshing and inspiring atmosphere of ideas. Yes, our students are the future of our Society and, together with our members, will be protagonists in our meeting. The logo of the XVI Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology represents this scenario. On the left, we have a stylized leaf representing our plants. On the right, we have the Sun that provides the primary energy for life, as we know it. In the center, occupying a prominent position, there is you, our member. With plant physiologists like you, we can understand and unravel the mysteries and wonders of nature.
