Dickson First United Methodist Church - Lifting Up the Heart of Christ--In the Heart of Dickson!

First United Methodist Church of Dickson traces its beginnings back to 1892. Straddling part of three centuries, the church has remained committed to offering the grace and love of Jesus Christ to the larger community of which we are a part. Our mission focus was adopted in 2007: "Lifting Up the Heart of Christ--In the Heart of Dickson!" -Luke 12:32

Church can happen anywhere. It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.
