This tool has been developed with the purpose of optimizing Parkinson’s Patient referrals for Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS ) therapy.
EARLYSTIMULUS is based on the expert opinion of 82 international DBS Neurologists and Neurosurgeons, using the RAND/UCLA methodology.
It is specially designed to guide the referral/general Neurologists to identify the appropriate patients to be sent to a DBS surgical expert center.
The DBS surgical center will determine the appropriateness of the patient for DBS therapy.
EARLYSTIMULUS can be an efficient support tool for Parkinson’s Disease practice management.
