Based on the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, which focuses on enhancing the healthcare services for citizens, while keeping pace with the accelerated progress in the health care field. There is an urgent need for an effective collaboration between educational, healthcare, and labor market sectors as well as other related but non-healthcare sectors. That is, to identify and address barriers and facilitators for an effective and prosperous future for the applied medical sciences specialties in the public and private sectors.

Therefore, the College of Applied Medical Sciences (CAMS) in collaboration with the University Medical City is organizing the launch of ""The Future of Applied Medical Specialties Towards 2030"" conference. The conference will be held at King Faisal Conference Hall, in the Intercontinental hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region.

More than 40 international and local speakers have been invited. They consist of academics, policy makers and those involved in enhancing the future of applied medical sciences specialties.
