Game Balance Analysis
Game Balance Analysis (GBA) app allows PE-teachers and coaches to evaluate and design the richness of the learning environment (sport-games) they offer to their students/athletes. By tracking scores conclusions are drawn and choices are structured to provide a rich and game centred learning environment. GBA is a tool that is used in educating teachers and coaches.

Screen one: Track scores
Scores are tracked for team A and B. Every ball possession either results in a score or a turnover (i.e., loss of possession).
Screen 2: Results
The percentage scores per team is calculated. The average for both teams is given.
Screen 3: Conclusion and Analysis
Based on the percentages and average conclusions are drawn on the learning environment; poor, promising or perfect. A set of pre structured coaching suggestions on of the game by modification of the environmental and task constraints or suggestions for new strategies are proposed to support the didactical choices of the teacher/coach.
Screen 4: Summary
A summary is given to guide the steps to be taken for the next game/round of play. Additional background information is available by pressing the ‘I’ button.
