GS Balance 5.2.1

To use the application, you need to have a user account in the Balance cloud service for remote monitoring of blood glucose test results. The account can be created by one of your healthcare professionals if the care team is using the service.

Balance is an application for storing and viewing blood glucose readings and other diabetes-related data. To improve your diabetes care, the data is shared with your care team in real time through the secure Balance cloud platform. Easy access to your up-to-date blood glucose situation assists your care team in making treatment decisions and giving you better support.

For capturing blood glucose readings, you will need to use a blood glucose meter that has Bluetooth connectivity.

The following blood glucose meters are currently supported by the Balance application:
- CareSens Dual
- CareSens N Premier
- Contour Next One

In addition to capturing blood glucose readings wirelessly, the following diabetes-related health data can be entered to the application manually:
- insulin dose information
- blood pressure readings
- weight values

The application functions as your personal electronic logbook for this data, eliminating the need for paper logbooks.
