TrainSpotting is the ultimate user-friendly app built by an enthusiast, regardless of cost, for all fellow UK Rail Enthusiasts!

The app contains the latest version of our database of locomotives (diesel, electric and preserved mainline steam) and Diesel and Electric Units plus increasing numbers of preserved and scrapped stock. All current Trams are also included. The app and database are frequently updated and distributed via app updates. App users are encouraged to contact us with anything they spot that we have missed!

The app also syncs all your data via iCloud (including any images you have added or taken via the app) to any other devices using the same iCloud account.

You can log a sighting with just a number or you can add: date, location (three-letter station codes supported), a photo and notes. Or you can use the Haulage function to add complete journey information including: number, location and times of departure and arrival plus photos and notes. Ideal for RailMiles users.

You can review your data in several ways: via date, location or by class. You can choose to include or exclude scrapped locos from the Browse page. You can also import any existing data from other sources in CSV format in bulk via a spreadsheet.
