You can select the word in alphabetical order (English meanings) by clicking “Word” in the menu bar. Basic everyday Vietnamese words!

Click on the "ABC" button in the menu bar, you can get the consonants and vowels. And there is "Tone" button in the menu bar. They are explained one by one.

There are over 75 million people who speak Vietnamese. Its vocabulary has many borrowings from Chinese. Viet means Canton (southern part of China) in Chinese, and Nam means south in Chinese. There are many accents of Vietnamese, like g, r, d, s, x, they sound different in different parts of Vietnam.
