Allegra! Welcome to Guarda! We are pleased that you’ve decided to visit our village on the sun terrace of the Lower Engadine. Take an interactive stroll through the village with the GPS-based smartphone app ‘Village tour Guarda’.

Guarda, the village of Schellenursli, with its impressive Engadine houses is one of the architecturally most valuable villages of Switzerland. With approximately 180 inhabitants, it is now a jewel amongst the Engadine villages. With this app, we would like to introduce you to the village.

Take a virtual or actual walk through the village and learn more about Guarda at 15 selected locations, its history and present time, countryside and nature, and what’s on offer in terms of arts and crafts, as well as gastronomic options.

If you have the sound and GPS switched on, information will appear automatically at the corresponding locations. You can also look for these locations yourself by using the map and access the corresponding information there. At each location, an audiotext of two to three minutes’ duration will give you an introduction to a certain topic. For some locations, there is also a short spotlight text.
