Materials
STYROFOAM Brand Foam
Solid Heart, 6"

Other Materials
Red acrylic paint
Red medium silk roses, 47
Double-sided red satin ribbon, 3/4" x 5/6 yd.
Floral pins

Tools
Ruler
Medium flat paintbrush
Disposable palette
Water basin
Paper towels
Scissors
Wire cutters or floral shears
Low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
Thick, white craft glue

Instructions
1. Paint foam heart red; let dry completely.

2. Fold ribbon length in half; glue and pin cut ends to center
top of heart for hanger.

3. Use wire cutters to trim rose stems as needed. Insert roses
into one side of heart, beginning at center and continuing
outward until entire surface is covered. Repeat on outside
edges, then opposite side, of heart.

4. Adjust rose placement as needed to completely conceal
painted heart. When pleased with arrangement, remove each
