Texting, apps and video calling have made staying in touch with family, friends and colleagues possible, in ways that were unimaginable just a generation ago. Most can speak face to face with people who are thousands of miles away as easily as if they were in the same room by using a smartphone.
Most of us that is; However, Deaf and hard of hearing people who rely on text and subtitles have, unfairly, been left behind. HearClear intends to change this through delivering video calling with live subtitles through the smartphone.
