The upper level is dedicated to the wall-length canvases of Water Lilies gifted by Monet to the nation at the end of the World War I. The rooms of the gallery provide an unbroken parallel epic of the events of the war that gripped the nation in a visual spectacular that is beautiful and sublime.


The lower level contains an exhibition of the mind blowing collection of the influential French art critic Felix Feneon (1861 – 1944). He was an icon of Neo Impressionism and also the pioneer of Futurism in the continent. He was also largely responsible for the careers of Georges Seurat, Paul Signac, Pierre Bonnard and Henri Matisse, whom he revived from relative obscurity. Alongside some of their famous works, several highly acclaimed futuristic paintings are on display and more information can be found inside the app.
