Lac Operon 1.1

This is an interactive program that allows you to visualize the mechanisms involved in regulated gene expression through the lac operon. This app features an interactive user interface able to manipulate functionality of five associated genes of the lac operon. Animations for chromosomal regulation are also available with plasmid animations currently in development.

Currently this is intended to be used as an aid to those currently learning about gene expression and regulation, however future versions of this will provide explanations to the mechanisms involved allowing it to function independently.
