The App lists 3500 most-used Chinese characters in strokes order, i.e. from “一” (only has one stroke) to “矗” (which has 24 strokes). You can also select the character in alphabetical order by clicking “select” in the menu bar.

When you get a hang of the Chinese handwritings, your understanding of the Chinese culture (including Japanese) will improve naturally.
