Old Glossop Clay Shooting Ground 1.0

Old Glossop Clay Shooting Ground is set in the beautiful scenery of the Peak District only 15 miles from Manchester city centre and 25 miles from Sheffield.

The ground has a long history of shooting sports, since World War 2 it has been used for rifle shooting, game shooting & clay shooting.

We offer food, refreshments, toilets, ample parking as well as stocking a wide variety of cartridges at excellent prices.

We run 50 bird sporting competitions every other Sunday with markers/referees on every stand and a pool shoot with pay out every 20 entries. With a wide variety of targets presented over many different stands set in natural surroundings, there’s something for everyone whether you’re a championship shooter or a beginner.
