Various kinds of samples like, blood, serum, sputum, skin scrapping, dung, urine, tissues etc. are collected from animals undergoing treatment or any other interventions by veterinary doctor, para-veterinary staff or animal owners under veterinary supervision and deposited in Disease Investigation labs (DI Labs). The lab personnel receives the samples along with details of the depositor (vet/paravet) and / or details of the owners/farmer and essentially takes down the mobile numbers and enters details in the online software Chhattisgarh Disease Investigation and Information System for Animals (CG DIISA).
