Patient Safety in Surgical Education 2 1.2

Do you have a PASS in patient safety? PAtient Safety in Surgical EDucation 2 is a teaching app designed for Year 3 Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine students.

PASSED 2 is an app that teaches practical knowledge in patient safety issues in a game format. You play the role of a surgical resident who is faced with various types of critical situations in the wards and where life and death decisions need to be made under time constraints.

Points are awarded for correct and quickly-made decisions and deducted for wrong decisions that endanger the patient’s life. You can play the module till you feel you have a good grasp of the major patient safety principles.

To use the app, simply download the app and register. The app will be activated during the Combined Teaching Session.
