Retrofit R22 and R404A EU 1.0.6

Selecting a replacement for R-22 or R-404A refrigerants has never been easier. This Honeywell app is designed to allow users to evaluate up to three refrigerants to make the right retrofit choice for their application and ensure compliance with the F-gas Regulation, as the European Commission has a proposal to prohibit refrigerants with GWP>2500 for servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment. Honeywell’s recommended refrigerant is R-407F (Genetron Performax® LT). Assessments can be conducted on a side-by-side comparison on properties such as capacity, efficiency and global warming potential (GWP). The app also features a built-in refrigerant calculator that determines how much new refrigerant is needed to run the system.

What’s more, the latest version now features a calculation tool for supermarket retrofits. By providing basic supermarket parameters, the calculator will determine the estimated annual energy savings and payback when retrofitting from R-404A to Honeywell Genetron Performax ® LT.
