Swiss System Tournament 1.4

Tournament manager for many players and few rounds,
for example at school sports

The Swiss system is a compromise between the round robin system, which needs very much matches, and the elimination system where half of the players get only one match. In the Swiss system the first round will be drawn. In the following rounds each player gets an opponent with the same or nearly the same number of points.
If you don’t allow any tie, you’ll get a winner in a group of 32 players after 5 rounds as well as in an elimination system, but everyone has played 5 times.
Uninteresting matches (strong players against weak players) only happen in the first rounds.
That is why the Swiss system is suitable for school sports like badminton, table tennis, tennisquoits or chess.

The App manages simultaneous Tournaments,

lets players start into the tournament in later rounds,
makes sure that no one must skip more than one round,
replicates no encounter,
supports the rule, that a player is eliminated from the tournament after for example three defeats and
helps to evaluate the tournament.
