The India Story is bringing together the very best of what contemporary Indian design and arts have to offer. It is a showcasing of Indian creative talent and products that are exclusively made in India. The exposition seeks to bring together the sheer variety of designing practices that the country has to offer under one roof, something the city of Kolkata has not witnessed before.

TIS will bring together the country's leading designers, art practitioners, retailers alongside master craftsmen, thinkers, performers and gourmet food producers to the unique space that is Swabhumi where indigenous styles and practices are showcased and celebrated. Using workshops, talks and performances as crucial linkages. The India Story will produce not an event, but an experience.
