Toolbox for Measuring is an advanced application for measuring real objects. The pattern recognition technology within the app, improves the user experience allowing to easily select the objects to be measured over the picture taken.

Take a photo using the app, perform the measurements using different units (millimeters, centimeters, meters, feet, inches, yards). Share your pictures via facebook, twitter and email. You can also include the localization data. As simple as that.

The application also has a leveling indicator, which can be used to correctly level your device in order to attain precision. You can also use it as a general purpose level.

Configure a rectangular reference (business card, post-it, whatever you choose). This should be performed only once. Then, take a picture maintaining the device completely horizontal or vertical (you can use the leveling indicator). Touch the reference object on the image, and then touch and hold to select the objects to be measured. The reference and the objects should be on the same plane. The number of pivot points can be adjusted by dragging at the moment of the object selection.
