Take a walk around the city of Thonon with your Smartphone and follow three routes to discover its historic, cultural and religious heritage.
The first walk, “History and Heritage” takes you to the historic centre, going from Sonnaz Castle past Bellegarde Castle, the Savoy Leman hotel school, the Visitation cultural centre and the Maurice Novarina theatre.
The city of Thonon les Bains is also known for its many castles and most of them have left a trace today; the lake walk “From Castle to Castle” will take you from Sonnaz Castle to Rives Castle, recalling the memory of La Fléchère Castle and ending with the jewel of Thonon’s heritage: Ripaille Castle.
The third walk is designed for persons with a visual handicap and offers an audio description, starting at the Tourist Office and going to the port on the funicular to access the port of Rives.
